Supporting people, preventing crisis

By providing daily wellbeing checks and medication reminders SMaRT Messenger provides constant emotional support and reassurance. It can quickly spot if regular activity levels change or no response is received, so the right people are alerted and can take appropriate action – preventing a problem becoming a crisis.

1. Wellbeing checks

SMaRT send a daily well-being check through the TV.

2. How are you?

"GOOD"
Response registered, no call back required but SMaRT will monitor for any changes in wellbeing

 

"OK"
Response registered, no call back required but SMaRT will monitor for any changes in wellbeing

 

"NOT GOOD"
Something is wrong a, call back is needed

 

NO RESPONSE
Triggers a call back and further investigation

 

3. The SMaRT Remote

The SMaRT Messenger system has been designed to be as easy as possible to operate, via a simple remote control.

The arrow keys scroll through menu options and message responses.

The OK button is used to accept and send message responses and select menu options.

The green button* requests a call back from SMaRT, which will be returned within the hour at any time of day or night.

For added convenience, the remote control can also be programmed to control the TV itself.

4. SMaRT React

SMaRT registers the response and takes appropriate action. If no response is received, a call back is triggered and investigated further.
